NASCAR Drivers – Hall Of Fame racing was played under NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. It was co-owned and designed by Jeff Moorad, Tom Davin and Tom Garfinkel. It was a co created project between these and Roger Staubach and Troy Aikman of Dallas Cowboys. It appeared successful until the year 2009 and during its period it has witnessed some great racers of the time who achieved wonders while being a part of this team. We have gathered a list of top 10 NASCAR Drivers in Hall Of Fame Racing and it goes as follows:
10 Legend NASCAR Drivers
1. Terry Labonte:
First and foremost n our list stands NASCAR Driver Terry Labonte of Texas. He was born on November 16th, the year 1956 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Terry Labonte made it to Hall Of Fame Racing in the year 2006. His racing career is studded with a great many awards and titles including the Winston (twice actually in the years 1988 and 1999), the Southern 500 (this too twice in the years 1980 and 2003), Busch Clash Winner in 1985, became the IROC Champion in the year 1989 and many others. Terry Labonte bagged the Winston Cup and became the series champion twice in 1984 and 1996. After that he got inducted among the NASCAR’s 50 Greatest Drivers in the year 1998. Terry Labonte also got mentioned in the National Quarter Midget Hall Of Fame in the year 1989. It was reported in 2006 that he will be placed in the NASCAR Hall Of Fame.
2. Tony Raines:
The next inductee in our list of top 10 NASCAR Drivers in Hall Of Fame Racing is NASCAR Driver Tony Raines. He belongs to Indiana and he was born in La Porte on 14th of April, the year 1964, his racing career is also decorated with a great many titles and awards. Tony Raines first got induced in the racing hall of fame somewhere around the year 2006-2007. In the year 1996, he stood ASA National Tour Champion and later in the year 1999 he won the title of Busch Series Rookie of the Year. During his glorious career about thrice he got placed himself among the top 10 ranks of NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, he got named among the top 10 rankers of NASCAR Xfinity Series fifty two damn times and also got inducted in the top 10 positions of NASCAR Camping World Truck Series no less than 22 times. Tony Raines also bagged more four titles in this series.
3. Ron Fellows:
Canadian national NASCAR Driver Ron Fellows was born on 28th September in Windsor Ontario, the year 1959. Ron Fellows is placed third on our list of top 10 NASCAR Drivers in Hall Of Fame Racing. He got selected in Hall of Fame Racing in the year 2007 and his series of achievements is no less than the other inductees on our list. In the year 2001, Ron Fellows became the co winner of 24 Hours of Daytona. Ron Fellows became American Le Mans Series GTS Champion in the year 2003 and also became 24 hours of Le Mans GTS Class champion thrice (in the years 2001, 2002 and 2004). Ron Fellows also won the 12 Hours of Sebring GTS Class in the years 2002 and 2004 that is twice. Its been over sixteen years since Ron Fellows became a part of 25 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
4. JJ Yeley:
Born in Phoenix, Arizona, on 5th of October, the year 1976, US NASCAR Driver JJ Yeley got inducted in the Hall Of Fame Racing in the year 2008. He is placed forth on our list of top 10 NASCAR Drivers in Hall Of Fame Racing. JJ Yeley stood the USAC Sprint Champion twice (in years 2001 and 2003), the USAC Silver Crown Champion two times (the years 2002 and 2003), the USAC “Triple Crown” Winner and USAC Midget champion in the year 2003. Also JJ Yeley got named the USAC Sprint Rookie of the Year in 1997, won the Non-Winged Driver of the Year from the National Sprint Car Hall Of Fame in the years 2002 and 2003 as well.
5. PJ Jones:
Ranked fifth on our list of top 10 NASCAR Drivers in Hall Of Fame Racing comes PJ Jones from California. He was born on 23rd April, 1969 in Torrance, California. PJ Jones became a part of the team in Hall Of Fame Racing in the year 2008. His racing career is studded with 24 Hours of Daytona championship (1993), 33 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race (stood top ten twice), 32 NASCAR Xfinity Series races (stood top ten once), and PJ Jones has been in the 18 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races where he achieved his place among top ten positions, 4 times.
6. Brad Coleman:
US NASCAR Driver Brad Coleman belongs to Texas, he was born o 26th February, 1998 in Houston. Brad Coleman is placed sixth on our list of top 10 NASCAR Drivers in Hall Of Fame Racing and his achievements include winning the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series Rookie Points Championship in the year 2005, being a part of NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race team for one year, being a member of 57 NASCAR Xfinity Series Races for over five years. Brad Coleman stood among the top ten NASCAR Drivers in this series around 9 times.
7. Ken Schrader:
Born on 29th May, 1955 in Fenton, Missouri, is our next candidate in the list of top 10 NASCAR Drivers in Hall Of Fame Racing named Ken Schrader. Ken Schrader got inducted in Hall Of Fame Racing in the year 2008 and comes seventh on our list. Ken Schrader list of achievements range from winning the USAC Silver Crown Series (1982), the USAC Sprint Car Series (1983), being awarded the USAC Stock Car Rookie of the Year in the years 1980 and 1985, also the Rookie of the Year in 2009. Ken Schrader also got himself the National Dirt Late Model Hall Of Fame award along with many other victories.
8. Joey Logano:
US NASCAR Driver Joey Logano is placed eighth on the list of top 10 NASCAR Drivers in Hall Of Fame Racing. Joey Logano was born on 24th May, 1990 in Connecticut. Joey Logano got himself inducted in the the Hall Of Fame Racing in the year 2008 and he is a well known racer who won the Busch East Series Championship in 2007. At a young age of 18, Joey Logano won the Xfinity Series championship and became the youngest racer to have won this award. Then at the age of 19 years Joey Logano became the youngest candidate to win the Sprint Cup Series and received the Sprint Cup Series Rookie of the Year in the year 2009 as well.
9. Bobby Labonte:
US NASCAR driver Bobby Labonte stands second last on the list of top 10 NASCAR Drivers in Hall Of Fame Racing. Born on 8th May, 1964, Bobby Labonte belongs to Corpus Christy, Texas. He got enrolled in the racing hall of fame in the year 2009 and being one of the most talented racer Bobby Labonte became the Winston Cup Winner in the year 2000, the Busch Series champion (1991), the Coca-cola 600 Winner (1995), the IROC Champion (2001), the Brickayrd 400 Winner and Brickyard 500 Winner in 2001. In addition to these achievements, Bobby Labonte got inducted in 723 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races,202 NASCAR Xfinity series races and 10 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races.
10. Erik Darnell:
The last inductee in the list of top 10 NASCAR Drivers in Hall Of Fame Racing is named Erik Darnell. He was born 2nd December,1982, in Beach Park, Illinois. Erik Darnell got selected in the racing hall of fame in the year 2009. This US NASCAR Driver is considered among the most talented racers and during his active career he successfully pocketed a great many titles as well. Some of these being the Wisconsin Challenge Series champion in the year 2003, the Craftsman Truck Series Rookie of the Year (2006). Erik Darnell has been in 9 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races for over two years and 52 NASCAR Xfinity Series races for more than 5 years. Erik Darnell also participated in 76 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races for about four years and got himself ranked among he top ten 32 times.
